PLS One Cleaning Solution

How far in advance should I book a cleaning for my NYC or NJ apartment?

Booking at least 48 hours ahead gives you a better shot at the time you want. That said, we keep a few teams flexible for last-minute stuff. For same-day cleanings in New York or New Jersey, the earlier you message, the better. We usually confirm within the hour. The calendar updates in real time, and once it’s locked in, the confirmation hits your inbox.

Do I have to be at my residence during the cleaning?

No. Most clients provide us with entry instructions or keypad codes and go about their day. Your assigned team sends a check-in text upon arrival and photos of locked doors when they leave.

If you’d prefer to stay home, that is completely fine. Just know the team moves quicker when they’re not working around people. Either way, you’ll get a detailed checklist in your inbox before we wrap up.

Can I combine multiple add-ons in one visit?

Absolutely. Each service page has its own booking form where you can select add-ons such as laundry folding, inside-oven cleaning, or steam-sanitized grout.

The form recalculates your flat rate instantly, so you know the cost before checkout. Our tech stack also flags longer service times automatically, ensuring we assign enough cleaners to finish everything in one session.

Do you bring your own cleaning items and gear?

We show up with everything we require: HEPA vacuums, microfiber cloths, and non-toxic cleaning solutions.

If you have a specialty product you love, leave it on the counter with a note, and we’ll use it. Or let us know 24 hours in advance so we can get it ourselves. Please also let us know in advance if you have fragrance sensitivities so we can switch to our unscented line.

What makes your service “eco-friendly” instead of just “green-washed”?

We are proudly certified by both the Green Clean Institute (GCI) and the International Janitorial Cleaning Services Association (IJCSA). Our cleaners follow standards backed by international certifications (ISO 9001, 14001, and 31000) and are committed to OSHA safety compliance.

We also publish every product’s ingredients, third-party eco certifications, and Material Safety Data Sheets in your client portal.

Our cleaners work with sustainable methods like low-water mopping or microfiber laundering protocols, so your space is cleaned thoroughly without compromising indoor air quality or river ecosystems downstream.

Is your cleaner baby-safe, pet-safe, and safe for allergy sufferers?

Yes. Our solutions are pH-balanced, biodegradable, and free of volatile organic compounds. We skip the usual allergens unless you ask otherwise.

People with newborns or sensitive pets often go for our hypoallergenic, fragrance-free products. Same stuff used in pediatric clinics, but still easy on skin and paws.

How fast can you flip an Airbnb between guests?

Most one-bedroom units are cleaned by a single team member and can be turned over in about two hours, depending on the size and condition of the space. If you need a quicker turnaround or have a larger unit, we can send more cleaners upon request.

We restock toiletries, snap “after” photos, and text them to you so you can open the unit’s smart lock for the next guest with confidence. For tight same-day windows, we can run a parallel laundry service at our facility and deliver fresh linens that evening.

Do you handle post-party or event cleanups that require late-night service?

Yes. Our on-call crew covers post-party cleaning in NYC and NJ until 2 a.m. Most venues book us to arrive as the last guest leaves, minimizing venue downtime and overtime fees. We remove trash, spot-treat spills, sanitize high-touch areas, and leave the space inspection-ready for building management by morning.

How do you price move-in or move-out jobs?

We use a flat-rate structure based on square footage and the level of buildup expected. Because empty spaces take extra detailing, inside cabinets, closets, and baseboards, move-out rates run a bit higher than standard cleans.

Still, many customers tell us we’re the best move-in cleaning service in NYC and NJ for value because there are no hidden fees. Quotes are immediate; final bills are never more than what you agreed to pay online.

How do you accept payment, and when am I billed?

All major credit cards and Apple Pay are accepted through our encrypted checkout.

You can choose to pay in advance at the time of booking, or let us hold the payment until after the cleaning is done. If you choose the hold option, your card will be authorized at booking.

You can also pick a schedule that fits: weekly, biweekly, or monthly.

What if my building needs a Certificate of Insurance (COI)?

No problem. If your building requires a COI, just send us a sample and any specific instructions at least 48–72 hours before your appointment. Email everything to (insert your company email here), and our team will handle it from there. We’ll coordinate with the building and confirm once the paperwork’s in place.

What’s your cancellation policy?

Plans change. Give us a heads-up at least 24 hours out. For deep or custom cleanings, give us 48 hours. If it’s too close to the appointment, there’s a 50% fee.

We do this because we hold that time for you and still pay our cleaners. For repeat bookings, cancel each visit at least a day ahead to avoid the fee. You can manage everything from your online account.
